Kain batik batik tulis motif Ikan Koi

Batik Walang Kekek was founded by Ester Wulandari, daughter-in-law of Indonesia’s Keroncong Maestro, Ibu Waldjinah, as a platform to express her love for batik. In her later years, Ibu Waldjinah remains dedicated to preserving batik by educating younger generations. Raised in a family of batik artisans with over 500 rare patterns dating back to the early 1900s, she chose to protect and revive these heirlooms rather than sell them. Together with Ester Wulandari, she transformed these precious legacies into authentic and meaningful works of art under the name Batik Walang Kekek.
